my baby is back...

We clearly saw it this week. She was happy, laughing and having fun. It had been a while. Ever since February 14th, Carys was not herself. It was as though someone had switched our baby with another one. She battled with a sore throat, a nasty, barky cough, a never ending runny nose, irritability, sleepless nights, separation anxiety and a fever. This lasted about a month and I think that was quite enough. Today was clear that our little girl was back. She smiled and laughed and played all day- there was hardly any fuss or crying. She even ventured off to play by herself without needing to be close or attached to me. We almost forgot about this baby, but we are sure glad she's back!
