Oh, bliss!

Winter has been long. Way too long. It's been cold and dreary with very little hope of Spring ever arriving. So, our March break trip to Mexico was just what the doctor ordered. The trip was fantastic. Was it a lot of work? Yes, but nothing like going with a 12 week old like we did last year. And the work? It was totally worth it. The kids travelled amazingly, we ate to our heart's content, we relaxed, we swam, we explored, played in the sand, met some great people, spoke a lot of Spanish, saw a plethora of iguanas, basked in warm sunshine for 7 glorious days and promised to return next year.

We woke up to this view every morning- so, so much better than looking at snow and bleak, grey skies. - and, off there to the left, you can catch a glimpse of the ocean.

Oh, this is one of my faves of Carys and I. My sweet, little muffin loved her trip to Mexico.

---

We drank our fair share of pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris. Mine with alcohol, hers without of course.... ;-)

Her own private playground.

Carys and her paps spent lots o' time in that water.

--

Paisley did much better this time around than when she was 12 weeks old. She was such a good little girl.

Little ham.

I am beyond ecstatic that we got this family photo taken. This is the first one of the 4 of us!!

Next up on our travel itinerary: Boston (sans kids) and Orlando (with kids and grand-maman) shortly thereafter! Can't wait!!
