A day sans kids

See this?
These are 2 car seats bearing no kids.

-
And, this is a happy Papa.
-
and, this is me totally relaxing with my feet up (obviously) for the whole 1 + hour drive- never having to look back every .2 seconds to make sure everyone is ok. That, in itself, is heavenly! My neck is thankful for it.

We brought the kids to Sarnia, dropped them off with Grand-maman and headed out for the day. Where to?

We love outlet shopping in the States. What do we love more than shopping in the States? Shopping sans kids. It never, ever, ever, ever happens. I mean, N-E-V-E-R. Man, it felt surreal. No strollers, no whining, no stopping every 3 seconds, no crying. OMG. It was heaven. It was wonderful. And, it is definitely something we will be doing again very soon.

We had a great stress-free lunch and a very successful shopping trip. See:

And we didn't even have to pay duty.

I think we're ready for an over-nighter. Grand-maman LOVED having the girls all to herself and told us we could have stayed longer even though we were gone for 9 hours!
