Croup strikes again

This time it struck Paisley and it came without much warning. She had a typical runny nose- but that's nothing new. Then she woke up with a raspy cry, gasping breaths and a barky cough. Had we not gone through this a handful of times with Carys, we would have been freaking out. We know how to handle croup (there's not much you can really do for it, by the way) but, it still doesn't make it any less heartbreaking to hear her cry out at night with her very sad cry. Night time is always horrible for croup- that's when all the symptoms come out. We're thankful for nice, cool days to help clear up her airways. Aside from a little irritability and a constant runny nose, croup takes a little break during the day.
