When we celebrated Carys' 1st birthday, I kinda went all out with decor and food and guests. It wasn't over the top, but it was a lot of work. I vowed I wouldn't do it again. But, how could Paisley get ripped off for her 1st birthday celebrations? The guest list is definitely much more trimmed down than Carys', but her birthday will be one-of-a-kind, nonetheless. I'm happy Paisley's birthday falls right around Halloween because it makes the theme part of her birthday pretty easy.
Thanks to Claudia, my master scrapbooker neighbour and her amazing scrapbooking retreat- or should I say oasis, I made Paisley's invitations. I only made 8, but it was labourious and tedious - but so well worth it. I only wish that I hadn't hand-written the inside part. Oh well, I'll know better the next time.
