Just shy of her 9 month birthday, she did this all in one week:
- waved bye-bye
- clapped her hands
- said "yeah, yeah, yeah"
- popped her top left tooth
She can also:
- give a kiss
- look for the dog when you say "where's the dog?"
- look for the baby when she looks at pictures of Carys and herself
- eat like a horse- all types of foods and textures- there's no holding back
- bum scoot to get to her "prize".
- snuggle in tightly- she is mighty affectionate
- immitate movements (ie. tapping on our legs)
- immitate certain sounds
- squeal like mad when papa comes home
- nap for 2-3 hours (yay for me!)-- now, if we can only work on night time sleeping.
- shake her head "no"
- feed the dogs her cheerios
While she doesn't crawl, she does like to do this. When we try to put her into the crawling position, she flat out refuses, resists and will stay like this until she collapses. Now that's talent.
It's no wonder that she weighs a whopping 20.3 lbs- a whole 3 lbs more than what Carys weighed at 9 months- she eats and eats and eats. While she still gets her morning dose of baby cereal, she basically eats what we do for every other meal. Tell me you don't want to take a bite out of those legs?
