It is a teething nightmare around here and we can't help but wonder when Paisley will be spared from her crying and pain. She's had a rough go at it since her birth and we've listened to so much crying that we're almost immune to it. Almost. Her 2 bottom teeth came through a while back and that went fine, but suddenly all 20 teeth seem to want to come out too. Her sleeping sucks and we're all reminded of her earlier colicky days. Nothing helps: Tylenol, Camilia, Advil, cuddling, patting, rocking. She is up, on average, 5-12 times a night. I don't care what anyone says, babies should be born with a full set of teeth. I can't imagine the pain of growing every single tooth and having them poke through your gums. We never went through any of this with Carys- she may have had some red cheeks and a little rash on her bum, but for the most part, you would never know she was teething.
We're thankful that during the day, she is quite happy and those happy moments usually come when she's, either, sitting in the grass, in her papa's arms, playing with a basket full of toys, hanging out on the deck, munching on her finger, and eating anything and everything. If there's sleep involved, those happy moments are gone.
Maybe I should do a little reverse psychology and put this "bee" happy shirt on her at night when she sleeps.

We can't wait until all of her teeth make an appearance. Until then, we will continue walking around like zombies because of the little sleep we get.
