We left early so we could "sort of" beat the Saturday rush- and, of course, leaving early meant we could feast on the $1 breakfast. Seriously, that's insane- we all ate heartily for $3. Super cheap-o, but then again, you're almost guaranteed to come out of there spending a minimum of $200. We spent more than that, though. *gulp*-- kinda makes the $3 breakfast seem not so cheap-o.

Paisley is checking out 2 guys who were making googly eyes at her- lo and behold, this is the first time she actually waved. We've been practising for a while now and it figures that she'd wave at random strangers.

All was good until Carys no longer wanted to sit in the car or walk or do anything other than be in our arms (we were cutting into her nap time). She actually had her 3 tantrum ever in one of the aisles. It was a mini-tantrum but a tantrum, nonetheless. Fun times when you're already pushing a stroller with an irritated baby and a cart with way too many things in it.- So, plan B:

This did the trick and kept Carys quiet until we checked out.

We folded the stroller, added it to our heap in the cart and sat Paisley in the front of the cart. She was happy and most satisfied when she found our list and aisle sheet to chew on. We just let her because 1 whining kid is better than 2.

And, then, she was over the moon when she found this to snack on:

Here, we're waiting for Darren to get the car so we can load up all of our loot. We came away with a T.V. stand, a dresser and book shelf for Carys, a plant and pot, some toilet scrub brushes, 2 lamps, some sort of above-the-bed-netting thing for Carys, a stuffed soccer ball, a scented candle, a picture frame, some Swedish cookies and coffee, some plastic cups and bowls and... I think that's all.

We were pretty pleased about our shopping trip and got most of the stuff on our list. The not so pleasing part? The 6 million screws and parts required to put together our T.V. stand. It took Darren about 3+ hours to put that thing together!
